Warmer

It is almost 30 degrees as I type this at 2pm on Friday afternoon but more snow is on the way if you believe the forecasters! We took a nice long walk this morning and made Emmi a happy puppy.

Kind of a bleak scene isn't it??
This one will have to go to our resident bird expert--which is it Steve, a hawk or immature eagle?
I started one of the two Quilts of Valor that I have to quilt and had it finished just after lunch. The quilts are small and the organization just requests that you quilt it, nothing fancy. I did this easy pattern of stars and loops.

We are off to Big Timber this afternoon to mail packages and do other errands. Then we are meeting Geoff and Nancy to watch the lighted Christmas parade then off to Livingston for dinner. Emmi is keeping Nat company.
My sweet niece Niki called today and we had a nice conversation. But, I want to ask my great nieces--Elizabeth and Leah--are you being good so Santa will come see you???

  1. Hope your keeping warm. Love the quilt peeking through in the background of your photograph. Who is the Organization your are making the quilts for.
