Dang It’s Cold

The temperature never even reached 60 degrees today, it was cloudy and threatening rain, BRRR!  It was raining when we went to bed last night and there is new snow on the mountains.  Mom called today and it snowed in Yellowstone Park last night.

We took a walk in the mud this morning and I took this awesome photograph--Spectacular view

Just after lunch time I headed in to town to attend the funeral for Lucille with Nat.  Arnie and Lucille were good friends of Nat and his late wife Joy.  Arnie and Nat pitch horseshoes together to this day.  Arnie and Lucille sold Michael and I our first RV—a little 23 foot Sun Chaser 5th wheel which we used for our first trip south to Arizona.  There were married 61 years.

When I got home it was to discover that Michael had polished off the rest of Jill’s wonderful cookies, not saving me even a crumb!  Shame on him!

The sun is out now and it seems to be warmer—I shouldn’t complain, I am about to get really warm—Thursday I am leaving for Austin, TX to attend the 50th wedding anniversary celebration for my friend Shirley—should be about 100 degrees down there and very humid.
